Steel-N-Iron Equipment, LLC (SIE) was formed in 2004.

SIE is a specialty foundation and equipment contractor which provides lease, sales, logistic, technical and project management services.

SIE forte is supporting oil and gas projects in remote arctic environments.

SIE provides services globally with an emphasis on Alaska, Russia and Canada.

Scope of Work: Drill 402 points for set and slurry VSM installation. Located on the North Slope of Alaska approximately from Oliktok Point to DS-3H Pad - Kuparuk. February/March 2007. North Slope winter construction with average temperature of approx. -20ºF. Safe and environmentally sound operations performed down to -35ºF.

Scope of Work:Install 20 each 12” VSM’s. Close quarter brown field construction. Installation completed adjacent to existing wells, pipelines, and utilities.

Project: Oooguruk On-shore Pipeline
Owner: BP Exploration (Alaska) Inc.
Contractor: Conam (subcontractor— North Star Terminals & Stevedore)

Scope of Work: Innovative replacement of 5 each 24” VSM’s and 12 each 14” thermister pipes. Installation of VSM’s included the use of a specialized 40” x 1” wall wing casing.
February/March 2006.

Project:Jim River (Pump 5) – Pipeline Replacement
Owner: Alyeska Pipeline Service Company
Contractor: ASRC

Scope of Work: 262 module VSM’s for updated modules. March/April 2005. Pump 9 located in the interior of Alaska near Delta Junction. 14” to 18” VSM’s installed. Challenging subsurface conditions consisted of rock and cobble. Additional equipment included a 36” down the hole hammer with a 30’ working depth.

Scope of Work: 64 miles transmission line tower foundations from Fairbanks to Clear AFS (Anderson). Approx 1200 pile from 10” to 66”. Two year project. Winter 2002 – 2004 construction from remote ice road ROW
